After 25 plus years of photographing weddings, some small and some outrageous, photos are still the only way to document that day. Sometimes people only have a handful of pictures that were taken.
My friend Louise had this beautiful photo of her parents from their wedding in the 50’s. It was framed and starting to fade. Black and White photos from that era were also routinely hand coloured to make them more realistic. We had to replace the colour and improve contrast to bring this memory back to life.
